That sounds about right.

As a sufferer of Major Depressive Disorder, I think “comorbid” sounds cold and deadly. That sounds about right for anything else that adds to my already difficult manner of coping with my mental health.

What else bothers me besides MDD? I have GAD. ADHD. cPTSD and I am close to talking to my professional help about the possibility that I am a well-conditioned Borderline Personality Disorder Sufferer.

Now I have to add BPD? It’s like I’m going for some type of Mental Illness Merit Badge.

Anyway, we can see why BPD is such a bane to our existence. It loves to play inside our heads with all the other Acronyms. Having BPD almost assures there will be a “comorbid” disorder “occurring simultaneously”.

Comorbid. Sounds about right.
