What will I do with the next decade or two of my life?

First, let me say I am playing the odds that I will be around for the next decade or two of my life. If I’m not, none of this matters.

BACKGROUND

I am a relatively healthy, mid 60s, female has-been. The company where I spent my entire career closed decades ago. I have been receiving my SSD for around ten years now. I’m blessed. I know exactly how much money I will have and on what day each month. I know exactly what bills need to be paid and how much each month. I have a budget and am working on getting some major objectives underway — like getting dentures. I am actually accomplishing a savings amount each month in preparation for such large ticket items. In the meantime, I can get new glasses, which my plan pays for in total.

When I say relatively healthy, I mean I am on no medications for any physical ailments. I suffer very little pain. I am way over weight and it is really showing. Now after six decades my back does hurt a little. I’m not used to it.

My three closest family members have — in effect — divorced me for a couple of years now. That is a longer story than what I have time for here* and there is so much I don’t know or understand. Basically, they went no contact and I was not involved in…
